Need CDI.............

It seems I'm in need of a CDI box for a 1999 thru 2005 Arctic Cat 250. None on e-bay or Craigs list and the $336+ for a new one just isn't happening until next month, that is if we are gonna show up at Morrow County. I already checked the 2 parts AC250s and both have no electronic boxes on them. So I need a used one for half price or less. Anyone have any leads please let me know.

I'm old but not that stupid. It seems they don't have any anywhere. They don't puke all that often and they are so expenive the used boxes disappear fast.

$336 is ridiculous. I checked Honda's prices for 3 different models(400ex, 300ex, 250r) and they were between $65-92. If part of owning an Arctic Cat is paying out the *** for replacement parts, I'd never even consider owning one. Wait till the day you bend an a-arm. I wish I could help you find a CDI but I don't know of a good source for Arctic Cat parts.

EDIT: I just looked up a Honda Rincon and it's $274. I can't believe there is such a wide range of price.

Anything not electronic is very reasonable, at least the parts I have bought so far including accessories. It's just they seem to think their Japanese Denso electric sh!t is worth way more than is reasonable. Maybe it's like the English and the POS Lucas electrical stuff, I just don't know. The CDI/ECU for my 2005 400 is $416+ which is even more ridiculous.

Well, I have determined that the 1999-2002 Suzuki 250s also used this box, Suzuki PN#32900-19B50 (which is the number, along with the Denso (the real manufacturer) PN# 070000-2500 QAC50, on the unit itself. I'v checked every where I can think of with the Suzuki number and its cheaper ($210 to $282 but still way over priced) but 10 days out which is no help.
